What is collected
When you create an account, the academy stores your email address, authentication identifier, optional name, username, and bio. Learning data includes completed units, saved quiz answers, attempted labs, your last lesson, and update timestamps.
Your browser may also keep a temporary local copy of learning progress so work can survive a failed sync. Coding practice stores your source code, custom test inputs, submission results, and timestamps in your account and in this browser. Pending changes remain on this device until synchronization succeeds.
How it is used
Account data signs you in and identifies your private records. Learning data powers the dashboard, recommendations, course progress, and cross-device sync. It is not used to advertise to you or sold by the academy.
The academy does not upload commands you run, local files, GPU logs, model prompts, or lab evidence from your computer.
Code entered in the Practice editor is synchronized to your account. Its execution happens in an isolated Python runtime on your computer; no compute server runs your solution. Practice results are personal learning records.
Service providers
Specialized service providers handle account authentication and store private profile and progress records. The academy does not receive your original password or third-party sign-in credentials.
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record. The academy does not receive or store card details; it stores only purchase and subscription identifiers needed to grant access.
Hosting and performance providers process the technical events needed to operate the site, understand aggregate usage, and diagnose reliability problems.
PostHog provides product analytics: which pages and lessons are used, and steps such as completing a lesson, passing a final quiz, or upgrading. Until you choose, visits are counted without cookies. If you accept analytics cookies, PostHog links your activity in the academy to your account ID so we can understand how learners progress; we do not send your email address. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer.
Google Ads measures purchases attributed to our advertising. Advertising cookies start disabled and follow your cookie choice. When you accept, a confirmed purchase sends its payment identifier, amount, and currency to Google; we do not include your email, name, or learning records. Advertising personalization remains disabled.
Your choices
You can edit your profile details from the dashboard. Browser storage can be cleared through your browser settings; let pending practice work sync to your account first.
Account support is available from your profile. Never share passwords, access tokens, or other secrets in a support request.
